Gamecocks Begin SEC Fall Preview Monday

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – South Carolina is set to open play at the SEC Fall Preview on Monday morning. All 14 teams from the league will compete over three days in a showcase of the nation’s premier conference in college golf.

The Gamecocks will be paired with Kentucky for the opening 18 holes. It’s a shotgun start for the field at 9:30 a.m. (ET) at Country Club of Birmingham.

Live scoring will be available via Golf Genuis.

Sophomore Zach Adams, transfer Frankie Harris, freshman Bo Carpenter and junior Nathan Franks are in the lineup again this week for the Gamecocks. Transfer Laurens Schulze-Doering will make his Gamecock debut.

Teams will play 36 holes tomorrow with the final round of stroke play on Tuesday. Matches will be played Wednesday to determine the tournament champion and other places.
