Gamecocks to Host Garnet & Black Madness Oct. 25

Will be second year of event that is free and open to the public for first look at the 2023-24 edition of Gamecock men's basketball
COLUMBIA, S.C. – South Carolina men’s basketball will host Garnet & Black Madness for the second straight year at Colonial Life Arena on Wednesday, Oct. 25. The free event is open to the public will begin at 7 p.m. (ET) with doors opening at 6:15 p.m.
Fans will be introduced to the team and get to catch them in action for the first time with an intrasquad scrimmage. Head coach Lamont Paris will address the crowd after. There will also be two shooting competitions where students will partner up with players to win prizes. A dunk contest will follow with an autograph session culminating the evening.
Fans are encouraged to use the main entrance and parking will be available around Colonial Life Arena.
