Rydqvist Set to Make LPGA Debut Thursday at The ANNIKA

Two-time All-American will tee off at 8:38 a.m. (ET) at Pelican Golf Club in round one
BELLEAIR, Fla. – Two-time All-American Louis Rydqvist is set to make her LPGA debut on Thursday at The Annika. The Jönköping, Sweden, native will tee off at 8:38 a.m. (ET) from hole 10 in the opening round.
Golf Channel and Peacock will have live coverage of the opening two rounds from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The final two rounds will be aired live on Golf Channel from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
Rydqvist earned a sponsor exemption into the event this week after notching her first career win at the season-opening ANNIKA Intercollegiate (Sept. 11-13). She shot 208 (-8) with rounds of 66-72-70. Rydqvist’s opening round 66 (-6) featured seven birdies and was a new career low. She finished T-3rd in the field with 13 birdies over 54 holes and also made an eagle on the second hole of the final round.
The junior is currently having the best season of her career to date for the top-10 Gamecock women’s golf team. She leads the team with a 70.73 scoring average and finished in the top-20 in all four of the team’s fall events.
She’ll be joined in the field this week by a pair of former Gamecock All-Americans in Pauline Roussin-Bouchard and Sarah Schmelzel.
