Non-conference matchup marks South Carolina's first game at ECU since 1988
COLUMBIA, S.C. – South Carolina (7-1) is on the road again this Saturday at East Carolina (6-3). Tip-off is slated for noon (ET) at Williams Arena at Minges Coliseum. Matt Schick (pxp) and Mark Wise (analyst) will be on the call for the ESPNU broadcast.
It marks the Gamecocks’ second true road contest of the season and final game away from home on the non-conference slate.
Carolina has not played in Greenville, N.C. since Jan. 13, 1988, a 78-51 win over the Pirates. Tony Shaw had a team-high 14 points, and Terry Dozier scored 12 on 6-of-9 shooting.
