Carolina seeking its third true road win of the season ; 1 p.m. (ET) tip on SEC Network

­­­­COLUMBIA, S.C. – South Carolina (14-3, 2-2 SEC) heads west for a Saturday matchup at Arkansas (10-7, 1-3 SEC) this weekend. Tip-off is set for 1 p.m. (ET) on SEC Network with Dave Neal (pxp) and Joe Kleine (analyst) on the call for the broadcast.

The Gamecocks will look to bounce back again on the road after a hard-fought, midweek battle against Georgia. The Razorbacks are fresh off a buzzer beater victory over Texas A&M on Tuesday at Bud Walton Arena, which is one of the best home court advantages in the country.

Arkansas is led by Houston transfer Tramon Mark, who averages 17.8 points per game. Mark has been an efficient shooter, posting numbers of 53.0 percent (96-of-181) from the floor and 38.8 percent (19-of-49) from 3.

The Razorbacks like to get to the free throw line as they rank third nationally in free throw attempts per game (27.4) and fifth in the country in free throws made per game (19.6). There were 71 combined foul shots in Arkansas’ win over the Aggies on Tuesday. The Razorbacks, who are 8-1 at home this season (only loss was to No. 13/11 Auburn), also lead the nation in blocks per game (6.7).
