Kacey Friedman

Kacey Friedman joined the men’s basketball staff as Assistant Director of Operations in October of 2025. She enters her 13th year working with Gamecock Athletics, serving in a variety of roles.

She moved over to basketball from the business office in the South Carolina Athletics Department. Prior to her time in the business office, she served as the Director of Softball Operations for 10 seasons from 2013 to 2023 assisting the coaching staff with all team and event logistics. She also served as the primary visiting team liaison and managed officials and all working personnel within the program during her time with Gamecock softball.

A 2012 graduate of South Carolina in sport and entertainment management, Friedman enjoys traveling and getting to see her family, including parents Seth and Sue and sisters Michelle and Dana. She is a native of Doylestown, Pa.
