Gamecocks Announce Sellout for Tennessee Game
COLUMBIA, S.C. – The University of South Carolina Athletics Ticket Office has declared the Gamecock women’s basketball game on Sun., Mar. 3, against Tennessee a sellout. The announcement marks the fifth sellout of the season and will add to the Gamecocks’ NCAA-leading attendance average of 16,381. With the sellout, doors at Colonial Life Arena will open at 10:30 a.m. for the noon tipoff on ESPN.
University faculty/staff will still be able to use their Carolina Card to gain admission on a first-come, first-served basis, and a limited number of student tickets are still available to be claimed.
To alleviate traffic and parking challenges at the soldout game, a free parking shuttle will be available from Founders Park. Fans can park in the lot at Williams Street and Blossom for free and ride the shuttle to Colonial Life Arena 10 a.m.-3 p.m.).
The Gamecocks and Lady Vols continue to honor the legacy of Nikki McCray-Penson, who passed away this summer following her battle with breast cancer. Prisma Health’s mammogram truck will be on site at Colonial Life Arena 10 a.m.-noon doing screenings every 15 minutes. Fans can schedule an appointment either on PrismaMyChart or by calling 803-434-3300 and must bring their insurance card and ID to their appointment.
South Carolina women’s basketball will recognize its seniors in a pregame ceremony that will start at approximately 11:40 a.m. The first 3,000 fans will receive a Senior Day giveaway, and rally towels will also be given out at the doors.
