Roussin-Bouchard Named to Fall ANNIKA Award Watch List
Columbia, S.C. – Freshman Pauline Roussin-Bouchard continues to turn heads around the golf world, this time earning a spot on Golfweek’s Fall ANNIKA Award Watch List, officials announced on Thursday.
Golfweek’s Fall ANNIKA Award Watch List consists of 15 of the top collegiate golfers in the nation. The ANNIKA Award presented by Stifel is awarded annually to the most outstanding women’s college golfer, as voted on by players, coaches and media. Past winners of the Annika Award include Leona Maguire, Alison Lee and Maria Fassi.
Roussin-Bouchard made an immediate impact this season, earning medalist honors at the Windy City Collegiate Classic and helping the Gamecocks win the tournament. The French Phenom is tied for 15th place in the NCAA player rankings released earlier this week thanks to her strong performances at the Windy City Classic, the ANNIKA Intercollegiate and the Ruth’s Chris Tar Heel Invitational.
The Gamecocks hit the links for the final time this fall when they travel to Wilmington, N.C. for the Landfall Tradition next weekend. The action gets underway at the Country Club of Landfall on Friday, Oct. 25.
