Columbia, S.C. – The Soccer Times Top 25 rankings were released today with South Carolina moving up one spot to seventh place. USC is coming off an impressive 2-0 showing at the 2003 Gamecock Soccer Classic over the weekend. South Carolina recorded two shutouts against Jacksonville (4-0) and Alabama A&M (3-0) to claim the tournament title.
NSCAA/adidas has the Gamecocks ranked 15th, while College Soccer News places USC in 13th.
South Carolina, with a record of 6-0-0, is one of nine teams in Division I soccer that remain undefeated.
