Gamecock Club Partners with Soda City Market
Staff members will be on site every Saturday from March 23-June 15
COLUMBIA, S.C. – South Carolina Athletics announced on Friday that The Gamecock Club has partnered with the popular Soda City Market, which is inspired by traditional European street markets, and is held on Saturday’s along Main Street in the heart of downtown Columbia. The Gamecock Club will be on site each week from March 23-June 15, with the exception of April 6, when Carolina will host its annual spring game at noon at Williams-Brice Stadium.
Soda City is held from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. every Saturday, rain or shine.
“We are very excited to join forces with Soda City, which is such a great asset to our community,” senior associate athletics director Steve Eigenbrot said. “This partnership is an amazing opportunity for us to reach out to our fans all summer long at an event that features a wonderful environment for people of all ages, families and kids.”
Everyone’s favorite mascot, Cocky, will be on hand for at least one hour as well, and The Gamecock Club will not only promote membership, which includes wonderful perks for all of Carolina’s athletics teams, but it will also have ticket information for each Gamecock squad. The 2019 football seasons features a loaded home schedule with contests against Alabama, Florida and Clemson.
