COLUMBIA, S.C. – Redshirt Freshman Lynae Vanden Hull was named to the All-Tournament team at the Shamrock Invitational in South Bend, Ind. Vanden Hull recorded career highs on back-to-back nights at Notre Dame as she posted 15 kills against the Hoosiers of Indiana and 21 against the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame. Vanden Hull was the first Gamecock to post a 20-plus kill match this season. Also against the Irish, the Papillion, Neb., native registered a career high 15 digs as Carolina upset No. 15 Notre Dame 3-1, as she posted the first double-double of her career.

Carolina went 2-2 last week, going 2-1 at the Shamrock Invitational and falling to Clemson last Tuesday. The Gamecocks host the Gamecock Invitational this weekend with Duke, George Washington and No. 13 Santa Clara coming to Columbia for the three-day tournament starting Thursday.
