Gamecocks will have 18 games at Colonial Life Arena in 2024-25 as team looks to build off historic season
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Southeastern Conference announced tip times and tv information for the upcoming men’s basketball season on Thursday afternoon. South Carolina will play 15 league games on SEC Network with three games on other ESPN platforms, specific network designation to be made later.
All games on ESPN platforms (ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, SEC Network and ESPN+/SECN+) are available through the ESPN App, which is accessible via connected devices.
In the non-conference portion of the team’s schedule, two games will be played on SEC Network. The team’s annual in-state rivalry with Clemson, part of the South Carolina Education Lottery Palmetto Series, will tip at 7 p.m. (ET) on SEC Network on Tuesday, Dec. 17. The Gamecocks’ final non-conference game at home against Presbyterian on Monday, Dec. 30, will also be on SEC Network and tip at 7 p.m.
The remaining seven home games on the non-conference slate will all be on SEC Network+.
Carolina will make its second all-time trip (first since 1973) to Assembly Hall on Saturday, Nov. 16 to face Indiana. The 3 p.m. tipoff will mark the Gamecocks’ debut on Peacock, a streaming service subsidiary of NBCUniversal Media Group.
Both of the team’s games at the Fort Myers Tip-Off will be nationally televised on FS1. The team’s SEC/ACC Challenge game at Boston College on Tuesday, Dec. 3, will tip at 7 p.m. on ACC Network.
Carolina’s home schedule in SEC play is highlighted by six teams that made the 2024 NCAA Tournament. Of those six teams, four of the games will take place on Saturday with evening tips at 8:30 p.m. on SEC Network against Texas A&M on Feb. 1 and Texas on Feb. 22. The team will play five of its nine home SEC games on Saturday this season.
A record-tying 10 SEC teams received postseason bids. The SEC’s eight NCAA Tournament selections tied its previous best set in 2018. Additionally, two SEC teams competed in the National Invitation Tournament. The SEC has had 35 NCAA Tournament selections over the last five tournaments.
The SEC Tournament returns to Nashville, Tenn., as Bridgestone Arena will host the event again from March 12-16, 2025.
Season tickets remain available and more information can be found here.
