Gamecocks Announce Dawn’s Day Care and Brunch Games
COLUMBIA, S.C. – South Carolina women’s basketball announced two new gameday experiences for the 2024-25 season. Fans who have tickets to the selected games can enjoy a Dawn’s Day Care kids play area for two games and purchase brunch for four Sunday games.
At Dawn’s Day Care, parents can join their kids in the McGuire Club while they enjoy inflatables, bracelet/necklace making, poster creating and other family fun. The area will open with Colonial Life Arena doors and remain open until the conclusion of the game. Unlike typical day care, admission to the room is free. Parents must stay with their children but will be able to watch the game from the windows overlooking the court. Dawn’s Day Care will be open for the first home game of the season on Thu., Nov. 14, against Coppin State and for the game against USF on Sun., Dec. 15.
Brunch will feature bottomless mimosas and bloody marys along with chicken and waffles, bagel and lox board, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage patties, hashbrown casserole, assorted pastries, muffins and pastries, fresh fruit, vegetable crudité, and assorted cold slider sandwiches. Non-alcoholic beverages will include coffee, orange juice, water, flavored water and iced tea. The brunch buffet will be in the McGuire Club for the games against East Carolina (Nov. 17), Auburn (Feb. 2), UConn (Feb. 16) and Kentucky (Mar. 2), opening at the same time as all doors and closing at the end of halftime. Brunch for each game is on sale now for $75 per adult and $25 per child 12 and under per game, or a four-game package for $275 per adult or $75 per child 12 and under.
These two are just the latest innovations for Gamecock women’s basketball, which introduced the Fast Break Pass last month. This add-on to the game ticket allows the holder to beat the lines at the door and the concessions stands by entering the arena 30 minutes before doors open for all other ticket holders. The Fast Break Pass is a digital ticket only that can be purchased for the season ($100) or for specific games, which will cost $12-20 depending on the game. Season Fast Break Passes and single-game Fast Break Passes for November games are on sale now. December Fast Break Passes will go on sale on Fri., Nov. 15.
No. 1/1 South Carolina is back in action on Sun., Nov. 10, against No. 9/8 NC State at the Ally Tipoff in Charlotte. The Gamecocks make their Colonial Life Arena debut on Thu., Nov. 14, against Coppin State with tipoff set for 7 p.m.
