Gamecocks at Boston College for SEC/ACC Challenge Tuesday

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – South Carolina (4-3) is in the northeast to face Boston College (6-2) in the SEC/ACC Challenge on Tuesday night. Tip is set for 7 p.m. (ET) on ACC Network with Jon Meterparel (pxp) and Malcolm Huckaby (analyst) on the call.

The Gamecocks and Golden Eagles last met on Jan. 1, 2011 in Columbia. This will mark the fourth all-time matchup between the two programs.

The first meeting was on Dec. 28, 1971 at The Palestra in Philadelphia, part of the Quaker City Classic. The Gamecocks were victorious, 86-64.

In last year’s challenge, Carolina defeated Notre Dame, 65-53, at home on Nov. 28, 2023. The two power leagues tied overall in the inaugural challenge last season, 7-7.
