Carolina concludes its two-game SEC homestand with its second consecutive top-five matchup tomorrow at Colonial Life Arena
COLUMBIA, S.C. – South Carolina (10-5, 0-2 SEC) remains home to face another top-five team on Saturday as it welcomes No. 2/2 Auburn (14-1, 2-0 SEC) to Colonial Life Arena. Tip is set for 1 p.m. (ET) with doors opening at noon.
Kevin Fitzgerald and Pat Bradley will be on the call for the SEC Network broadcast.
The Tigers, who have won seven-straight games (T-7th longest active winning streak in the nation via KenPom), are the sixth ranked opponent (third consecutive) the Gamecocks have faced so far this season. Auburn has also logged seven consecutive wins against Carolina dating back to January of 2020.
The Gamecocks are 1-1 at home against top-25 opponents this season with a 91-88 overtime victory over in-state rival No. 25 Clemson back on Dec. 17.
The first 5,000 fans on Saturday will receive a rally towel presented by SAFE Federal Credit Union.
