Columbia, S.C. – Eleven cross country teams will converge on Owens Field in Columbia, S.C. Friday, Sept. 5th for the USC Invitational. The 5K race will feature South Carolina, Charleston Southern, College of Charleston, Gardner-Webb, Savannah State, S.C. State, The Citadel, Charlotte and Winthrop. Division II teams also competing will be Coker College and Savannah State.

The women’s 5K race is slated to begin at 6:30 p.m. The course is spectator friendly with 90 percent of race action within view. Admission to the event is free of charge.
