Gamecocks Build Momentum on Day Two of Gamecock Invite
COLUMBIA, S.C.- South Carolina men’s tennis continued its season-opening Gamecock Fall Invite, which features three singles draws, three doubles draws and one additional consolation draw, on Saturday at the Carolina Tennis Center. Saturday’s matchups saw Gamecocks square off in two singles matches while Patrick Cacciatore and Beau Pelletier each won twice to clinch places in Sunday’s singles Flight B championship match.
Jake Beasley and Joseph Brailovsky advanced to the main draw semifinals of the doubles B-flight with an 8-1 over Benson/ Lopez of Presbyterian College.
Play will resume on Sunday morning at 8 a.m., at the Carolina Tennis Center beginning with the doubles main draw semifinals for the A-flight, B-flight and C-flight draws and will conclude with the main draw doubles championship matches.
Entry to the venue and parking are free and open to the public.
