Los Angeles, Calif. – Gamecock sophomore Nicole Miller was named to the Holiday Inns of Greater Los Angeles All-Tournament Volleyball Team, hosted by the University of Southern California. Miller posted a career high 16 kills and a .448 hitting percentage in the match against No. 1 Southern California. The outside hitter led Carolina for the weekend with 31 kills, a .271 hitting percentage, 28 digs and six total blocks.

Against No. 8 Northern Iowa, the Stockton, Calif. native played libero and registered six digs. Miller also recorded a career high 13 digs in Carolina’s win against Ball State and registered 15 kills against the Cardinals, for her second straight double-digit kills match. In game five against Ball State, Miller had three kills and a block assist to help Carolina record its first win of the season.

Falling to No. 1 USC and No. 8 Northern Iowa, the Gamecocks defeated Ball State 3-2 for a 1-2 record and a third place finish at the tournament.
