Carolina has a long history of great support from its fans, and it looks to continue that tradition this fall. The Gamecocks have finished in the top-10 for national attendance average in four consecutive seasons. Last year, Carolina finished third in the country in attendance average. The 2,900 fan per game average was a program record.
Head coach Mark Berson and his team kickoff the regular season on Friday, Aug. 24 vs. Georgetown at 7 p.m. A week later the Gamecocks welcome in-state rival Clemson to the friendly confines of Stone Stadium. Carolina broke the all-time single-game attendance record the last time the Tigers came to town when 6,892 fans attended the annual rivalry match. To view the Gamecocks full 2018 slate, click here.
