Fisk and England Ready for U20 World Cup

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Grace Fisk has experienced international play for most of her soccer career, and starting August 5, she will add another incredible experience to her resume at the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in France.

Fisk was named to England’s roster back on July 23. Fisk is one of six defenders on the squad that will open up against North Korea’s team this Sunday. A full schedule for England is below for group play.

Fisk has played on many of England’s national teams in her career. She has been a part of the U15, U17, U18 and U19 levels, playing over 30 matches for England and has served as the captain on the U15, U17 and U19 teams.

Fisk was named SEC Defensive Player of the Year in 2017 in her first season with the Gamecocks after missing the beginning of the season also participating with England. She was named to the All-SEC First Team, United Soccer Coaches All-Southeast Region First Team and proved to be outstanding in the classroom as she was an SEC First-Year Academic Honor Roll honoree.
