Men’s Tennis Sets Fall 2025 Slate

COLUMBIA, S.C. – South Carolina men’s tennis coach Josh Goffi announced today the 2025 Fall schedule for his team, which includes two traditional fall tournaments, select Gamecocks participating in an ITF professional event and four tournaments that could yield qualifiers for the NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships.

Goffi’s team will open the season split between the ITA All-American Championships in Tulsa, which open with two days of prequalifying and two of qualifying before main draw action starts on Sept. 24, and the Carolina Classic, which is set to start Sept. 19 at Carolina Tennis Center. The All-Americans will be the first chance for players to qualify for the 2025 NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships with 10 singles and four doubles entries coming from the event.

At the end of September, the Gamecocks will have a chance to earn spots in a professional tournament at the ITF M15 Winston-Salem (Sept. 29-Oct. 5).

Back in collegiate action, South Carolina will head to the ITA Carolina Regional in Cary, NC. Five days of action at Cary Tennis Park will start on Oct. 16. Each of the 13 Regionals will send its two singles finalists and the doubles champion to November’s NCAA Championships.

The Gamecocks will spend Halloween weekend at the Wake Forest Invitational (Oct. 31-Nov. 2), playing in that tournament for the third-straight season.

Players will have one more chance to earn a spot in the NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships at the ITA Sectional Championships in Chapel Hill, NC, Nov. 6-9. Six singles players from each of the four Sectionals will qualify as will three doubles teams from each site.

The NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships are set for Nov. 17-23 in Orlando, Fla. There 64 singles and 32 doubles entries will battle for their National Championships.
