Gamecocks Wrap Up Non-Conference Schedule at Home
COLUMBIA, S.C. – The South Carolina Volleyball team (4-4) wraps up its non-conference schedule at home this week, facing Wofford (2-5) on Monday, Sept. 15 at 7:00 p.m. and USC Upstate (6-4) on Friday, Sept. 19 at 6:00 p.m.

The Gamecocks split their matches this week, falling 3-1 on the road to NC State before bouncing back with a five-set upset thriller over No. 25 North Carolina at home Friday night. Senior Emily Beeker delivered standout performances in both matches, finishing with at least eight kills and seven blocks in each. Against NC State, she posted a .538 hitting percentage with nine kills.
Victoria Harris anchored the defense with a combined 52 digs on the week, tallying 20-plus in both matches. Offensively, Nia Hall and Victoria Hill powered the Gamecocks past the Tar Heels with 18 and 17 kills, respectively, accounting for more than half of the team’s 49. Both have now surpassed 90 kills on the season.
Ava Leahy also shined against UNC, recording a season-high eight blocks to lead the team, followed closely by Beeker and Elise Marchal with seven apiece. Together, the trio helped the Gamecocks set a new season best with 16 team blocks.
