Gamecocks Back in Action Monday in The Lowcountry

CHARLESTON, S.C. – South Carolina tees it up at The Bryson Invitational (Oct. 13-15) on Monday morning in what will be the first of the team’s final two fall events. Daniel Island Club plays host to the 54-hole, stroke play tournament.

It’s a strong field with a trio of top-25 teams in No. 3 Vanderbilt, No. 12 BYU and No. 21 Wake Forest.

Redshirt senior All-American Frankie Harris has the top spot in the lineup this week joined junior Zach Adams and sophomore Marek Fleming. Two talented freshman will make their lineup debuts this week in Talan Harrison and August Petersson. Both players have competed in a pair of individual tournaments so far this season with Petersson earning runner-up medalist honors at the Minnesota Golf Classic (Sept. 6-7). He was tabbed SEC Freshman of the Week for the performance. Harrison finished T-17^th in Minnesota and T-24^th at the Bryan Bros Collegiate (Sept. 7-8).

Junior Brock Blais and redshirt sophomore Ismael Encinas will play as individuals this week at Daniel Island.
