No. 16 Gamecocks Take Fifth in Fall Finale at Landfall Tradition

WILMINGTON, N.C. – No. 16 South Carolina finished the fall strong on Sunday at the Landfall Tradition, taking fifth-place in a solid 18-team field that featured 12 teams ranked inside the Clippd Top-25. The Gamecocks fired the second-best team score of the final round with a 4-under 284.

Freshman Molly McLean continued her strong play leading the team with a 3-under score of 69 today to climb 27 spots on the leaderboard where she finished T-18^th at 2-over for the tournament.

Transfer Alicia Olsson also fired a red number in round three with a 2-under 70.

Junior Maylis Lamoure led the Gamecocks this week with a T-14^th finish at 2-over, her second straight top-20 showing. Lamoure shot 69 (-3) in the opening round of the event on Friday to grab a share of the individual lead.

Junior Vairana Heck finished T-25^th at 3-over and sophomore All-American Eila Galitsky finished T-35^th at 6-over.
