University of South Carolina men’s head coach Mark Berson announced today that Ayo Akinsette and Makan Hislop have both signed national letters of intent to play soccer in the fall of 2003.

Akinsete attended St. Columba’s Catholic School for Boys in London, England. He is an attacking player who will play forward for the Gamecocks.

Hislop attended Signal Hill Secondary Comprehensive High School in Tobago, West Indies. He was a defender on the U17 Trinidad and Tobago national youth team. He will play in the central defense for the University of South Carolina.
