Gamecocks to Celebrate Seniors Thursday

COLUMBIA, S.C. ââ’¬” South Carolina women’s basketball will celebrate seniors Lindsey Spann and A’ja Wilson prior to Thursday’s 6:30 p.m. tipoff against LSU at Colonial Life Arena. Fans will have an opportunity to share their appreciation with this year’s senior class as well as collect souvenir items prior to the on-court ceremony, which is scheduled to begin at 6:10 p.m.
In honor of All-American Wilson’s love of pearls, all fans in lower-level seating will find a strand of costume pearls on their seats. The Athletics Department is handing out 12″x18″ posters of the two seniors as well. Banners will be on the concourse above the ticket office (behind section 101) that fans can sign or write short messages to each senior.
There will some General Admission Flex tickets available for this game. General admission season-ticket holders can bring their ticket to the College Street entrance beginning Thursday at 5 p.m. to trade it for a lower level reserved seat behind the student section while they last.
Single-game general admission tickets are still available for Thursday’s game between No. 7/6 South Carolina and No. 24/- LSU for $9 for adults or $5 for youth. Fans can order tickets ahead of the game at GamecocksOnline.com or by calling the South Carolina Athletics Ticket Office at 800-4SC-FANS (800-422-3267). Doors to Colonial Life Arena will open at 5 p.m. for Thursday’s game.
