Paul Jubb Closes Out Fall Schedule for Gamecocks

NICEVILLE, Fla. – South Carolina men’s tennis sophomore Paul Jubb compeleted the fall season for the Gamecocks on Thursday. Jubb represented his home country of Great Britain at the Niceville ITF Futures, where he made it through to the round of 16 in the main draw.

Jubb fell in the third round of the Niceville ITF Futures to Fabrizio Ornago, who is ranked No. 500 in the ATP. Ornago, who represents Italy in international competition, took the advantage early by winning the first set 6-4. Jubb played hard, but was unable to defeat the number three seed, falling 6-4, 6-2.
