Men's Tennis Announces Fall Schedule

COLUMBIA, S.C. – South Carolina men’s tennis head coach Josh Goffi announced his team’s Fall 2017 schedule today. The Gamecocks will split up to participate in seven different events based on individual schedules and early-season goals.

In the first week of competition (Sept. 22-24) the team will split in two. Selected student-athletes will travel to Gainesville, Fla., to compete at the Gator Plus One, while the rest of the team will compete in the Ivy Plus in Princeton, N.J.

At the end of September, the Gamecocks will come together to compete in various levels of the All-American competition in Tulsa, Okla. The pre-qualifying round begins Sept. 30 and continues into Oct. 1. The qualifying round will be played Oct. 2-3, leading into the main draw on Oct. 5-9.

The team will compete together again at the ITA Regionals in Cary, N.C., on Oct. 13-17.

To finish the fall season, several Gamecocks will compete at ITF Futures events in Birmingham, Ala., (Oct. 27-30) and Niceville, Fla., (Nov. 3-5). Other members of the team will compete in a tournament at Wake Forest on Nov. 3-5.
