Gamecock Soccer Host C.A.P.S. Clinic

Feb. 20, 2017

COLUMBIA, S.C. — The South Carolina men’s soccer team hosted its annual C.A.P.S. Clinic to benefit Children’s Chance on Saturday morning at Stone Stadium. There was a record turnout this year, as over 60 campers participated.

“This was our 18th annual Child and Parent Soccer Clinic, and I think it was our best ever,” head coach Mark Berson said. “We had a beautiful day and a tremendous turnout. This is a great opportunity for our players to give something back to the community, and to help grow the game. Most importantly, everyone had a great time. All of the proceeds from this event go to benefit the Children’s Chance organization. I want to thank Children’s Chance for all that they did to make this event a success. I also want to thank the USC Athletic Department for their continued support of this great cause.”
