DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. ââ’¬” South Carolina women’s golf senior Katelyn Dambaugh and former Gamecock standout Justine Dreher advanced to the final day at Stage III of the LPGA Qualifying Tournament following Saturday’s completion of round four. Both golfers’ 72-hole totals put them inside the top-70 cut line and moved them into Sunday’s fifth round at LPGA International.

Dambaugh, who held the 18-hole lead after opening with a 5-under 67 Wednesday, will head into Sunday tied for 30th at 2-under (286). The Goose Creek, S.C., native backed up her impressive showing on day one with a 71 (-1) in Thursday’s second round. Dambaugh carded a 73 (+1) Friday before turning in a 75 (+3) on Saturday at the Hills Course. She is one of five amateurs under par in the event.

Dreher shot under par in round two (71) and three (70) to position herself inside the cut line. The three-time All-American, who played at Carolina from 2011-15, will enter Sunday’s final round tied for 50th (289, +1) following her 2-over 74 on Saturday.

The remaining golfers at the tournament are competing for 20 full LPGA Tour cards and 25 partial cards. Sunday’s final round will be contested at the Hills Course, starting at 8 a.m. ET.
