Gamecocks Sign Addie Cromer to National Letter of Intent

COLUMBIA, S.C. – The University of South Carolina equestrian team is thrilled to welcome Addie Cromer to the Gamecock family. Cromer recently signed a National Letter of Intent and will join the Carolina program for the 2017-18 season.
“Addie comes from a Gamecock family, so it is extra special to have her join us,” Carolina head coach Boo Major said. “Her experiences in reining will be a great benefit to us in the future.”
Cromer is a native of Anderson, S.C., and she attends T.L. Hanna High School. She is the daughter of Kevin and Aimee Cromer, and has two younger siblings: Lila and Field.
Cromer will represent the Gamecocks in reining and has won multiple accolades throughout her youth career. She is a former AQHA World Show Qualifier and a 2016 IEA Nationals Qualifier. In 2016, she was the Carolina Classic Youth Circuit Champion as well as the mid-Atlantic Classic Green Challenge Champion. She is also a NRHA Affiliate Finals Qualifier in Youth Reining.
A strong student, Cromer is an honor roll recipient and a member of the Avid Program. She plans to major in criminal justice at the University of South Carolina.
