FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – On an unseasonably warm morning at the University of Arkansas’s Agri Park, South Carolina finished 13th in the 2016 SEC Cross Country Championships.

Senior Mary Reiser (61st) led the way as she has all year, clocking a 22.09.9 on the tough 6K home course of the Razorbacks. Redshirt freshman Colleen Openshaw (120th, 23:41.6) and freshman Emily Crounse (124th, 23:46.4) both had fair showings in their first SEC Championship.

Missouri’s Karissa Schweizer won the event, finishing in 20:10.6, while Arkansas took the team title by 30 points over Mississippi, 46-76.
