South Carolina Hosts Tuesday Night's Gamecock Invitational

COLUMBIA, S.C. –
South Carolina closes the home portion of its 2016 cross country schedule with a Tuesday night meet called the Gamecock Invitational, with start time set for 5:30 p.m. for the women’s two-mile race.

The Gamecocks again utilize the Sandhill REC course for the event, with the main entrance located across from the gateway into the Village at Sandhill shopping center.

Admission is free for fans, who can watch the race from many vantage points along the two-mile setup. For students who checked in at the first meet, the Carolina Classic, those who come again will be eligible for a special prize going to a random winner.
