COLUMBIA, S.C. – Game times have been finalized for the upcoming season of South Carolina men’s basketball. The 2016-17 campaign gets underway on Nov. 6 with an exhibition contest versus Newberry set for a 4 p.m. ET tip-off, while the regular season gets underway on Nov. 11 with a 6:30 p.m. start versus Louisiana Tech, with both contests broadcast on SEC Network +, the digital tier of the network.

The Nov. 13 matchup versus Holy Cross will tip at 7 p.m. (SEC Network), while the next two home games, versus Monmouth (Nov. 15) and SC State (Nov. 18) will begin at 6:30 p.m. on SEC Network+. Those three contests make up Carolina’s home portion of the Brooklyn Hoops Holiday Invitational.

The Gamecocks and Michigan matchup will begin at 5 p.m. on ESPNU on Nov. 23, before the Gamecocks travel to Brooklyn, N.Y., to square off with Syracuse at the Barclays Center on Nov. 26. That contest will begin at 2 p.m., and be broadcast on ESPN3.

The Vermont (Dec. 1/6:30 p.m.) and FIU (Dec. 4/2 p.m.) contests will both be broadcast on SEC Network+, before Carolina hits the road for two contests, the first versus Seton Hall at Madison Square Garden on Dec. 12 (9 p.m./Broadcast TBD) in the Under Armour Reunion, followed by the Gamecocks’ first true away game of the season, at USF on Dec. 17. The matchup versus the Bulls will tip at 1 p.m. on CBS Sports Network.

The non-conference portion of the schedule concludes when the Gamecocks host Clemson on Dec. 21 (9 p.m./ESPNU), followed by a Dec. 27 matchup versus Lander (7 p.m./SEC Network). Carolina’s final game before league play begins will be when it travels to Memphis on Dec. 30, a contest that will begin at 9 p.m., and be broadcast on ESPNU.
