Full name is Amanda Ellen Ingvarsdotter Sträng…Born Feb. 17, 1990 in Jonstorp, Sweden…Parents are Ingvar and Peggy Sträng…Father was a goalkeeper in the highest ice hockey league in Sweden…Chose South Carolina because she felt like part of the team after only two days in Columbia and because of the campus and golf facilities.
