COLUMBIA, S.C. – The South Carolina men’s and women’s soccer programs will hold an open house at the brand new South Carolina Soccer Complex adjacent to Stone Stadium on Tues., Aug. 16, from 5-7 p.m. The event is free and open to all fans and local media.
Members of both teams will be on hand to give tours of the new 11,000-square-foot home of Carolina soccer, which houses individual team locker rooms, lounges and study rooms, athletic training therapy tubs, a 3,000-square-foot weight room and a video room. Season ticket holders will be able to pick up their limited edition Gamecock Soccer vuvuzelas, while fans interested in the joint season ticket package can purchase them through the Gamecock Ticket Office at the event.
Fans are asked to park at the Heyward Street parking garage just south of Stone Stadium and enter the complex through the main entrance off Marion Street.
Season tickets are also available for purchase online at GamecocksOnline.com/Tickets or by calling 800-472-3267. Tickets are $25 for adults and $10 for youth 17 and under, and purchasers will receive a Gamecock Soccer vuvuzela along with their season pass to all 21 men’s and women’s home matches.
Both teams take on challenging 2016 slates that include home matches against some of the best of NCAA Division I soccer. Women’s soccer opens the 2016 home schedule against NC State on Thurs., Aug. 25, while men’s soccer welcomes Clemson for its season opener on Fri., Aug. 26.
