South Carolina senior Chuck Eidson averaged 25.5 minutes and 7.3 points a game at the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament last weekend in Virginia. His team finished fourth.

Eidson’s team, Holiday Inn, defeated Maryland Designs on Thursday, 91-79. While he didn’t start the game, Eidson scored four points, adding five assists and two steals in 22 minutes.

In his second game, Eidson started at guard against Sales Systems, Ltd., where his team fell 86-94. Eidson scored eight points, adding two assists and two steals in 26 minutes.

In the third game, the Third Place Championship game, Eidson’s Holiday Inn team fell 85-99 to Portsmouth Sports Club. Eidson, starting at guard again, scored 10 points with five rebounds, four assists, one block and two steals in 29 minutes.

All told, in three games, Eidson collected 10 rebounds, 22 points, 11 assists, one block and 6 steals.
