Karen Burnette

Karen Burnette joined the Academic Staff at the University of South Carolina in July 2015. She currently serves as a Learning Specialist.

Prior to joining the Gamecock staff, Karen served part time as a member of the Clemson University Academic Staff from January 2013-May 2015. She also taught with the Leisure Skills Department at Clemson University from August 2012-May 2014.

In 2012, Karen earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education from Clemson University. In 2014, Karen also earned a Master of Science degree in Park, Recreation, and Tourism Management from Clemson University. She is a certified teacher in the state of South Carolina.
