COLUMBIA, S.C. ââ’¬” The University of South Carolina women’s soccer coaching staff will hold five goalkeeper camp sessions starting next week.

The camps will be offered for girls in grades 8-12 and will take place on each Monday and Wednesday over the next two-and-a-half weeks. Each session, which is limited to the first 10 registrants, will run from 5-6:30 p.m. at Stone Stadium in Columbia, S.C.

The cost is set at $25 per session or $125 for all five camps, and those interested in registering can contact assistant women’s soccer coach Libby Bassett at ebassett@sc.edu.

Bassett, who will begin her fourth season at South Carolina this fall, will lead the camps. During her time with the team, she has worked primarily with the Gamecock goalkeepers, including two-time NSCAA First-Team All-American Sabrina D’Angelo.

Bassett and the Gamecocks begin their 2015 campaign next month when they open the regular season at home against Northeastern on Friday, Aug. 21 at 7 p.m. Fans can get their season tickets for both the men’s and women’s soccer teams by clicking HERE.
