The South Carolina women’s basketball team’s first full day in Tampa started off with a visit to Amalie Arena. Alaina Coates, Tiffany Mitchell, Khadijah Sessions, Aleighsa Welch, and A’ja Wilson joined Coach Staley to represent the Gamecocks for a media and video session. The Gamecocks rotated through several stations, including ESPN interviews, fun videos for the in-game video board, and NCAA.com interviews and video. After the media session the full team headed to the University of Tampa facilities for practice. Later, all four teams gathered at the Final Four Salute Dinner at The Getaway for beach fun, boat rides, and dinner.
Stay tuned to this post for a video recap of the day.
