COLUMBIA, S.C. – South Carolina women’s basketball head coach Dawn Staley will be at the Cayce, S.C., location of Garnet and Black Traditions on Sat., Nov. 1, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. to celebrate the release of several apparel lines. Admission to the event is free.
Beginning Saturday, Garnet and Black Traditions will carry women’s basketball apparel as well as the Dawn Staley Signature line and apparel for Staley’s service project, INNERSOLE. All three lines will be available in limited release Saturday with full lines expected to be in stores by the start of the holiday shopping season. Proceeds from the sales of women’s basketball apparel will go toward the women’s basketball fund, while proceeds from Staley’s Signature line and INNERSOLE will go to INNERSOLE.
The address for Saturday’s event is 228 Knox Abbott Drive in the Parkland Plaza. The store opens at 10 a.m.
Staley and the Gamecocks will play an exhibition game on Sun., Nov. 2, at 3 p.m. against Coker at Colonial Life Arena. The regular-season opener will come nearly two weeks later on Sat., Nov. 15, against Southern Cal.
