COLUMBIA, S.C. –
Due to new and ongoing construction near Colonial Life Arena, parking changes are in place for the 2014-15 South Carolina men’s and women’s basketball seasons. Fans should pay special attention to the changes, which are listed below. Within a five-block radius, approximately 3,200 parking spaces are available to fans (availability will vary based on area events/University classes and events).

The following parking lots/garages are open to the general public for Gamecock men’s basketball games for a fee of $5:
Colonial Life Arena surface lot B
Discovery Garage (enter off Park St./DO NOT park in any parking spot labeled with a “Reserved” sign)
Lot F (Convention Center/available when the Convention Center does not have an event)
The City of Columbia’s Park St. Garage (pay $5 fee upon entry/entrances at corner of Pendleton St., and on Park St.)
The Palmetto Compress Lot (this lot offers limited parking/entrance off of Devine St.)

The following parking lots/garages are open to the general public for Gamecock women’s basketball games for free:
Colonial Life Arena surface lot A
Colonial Life Arena surface lot B
The Department of Transportation Garage (entrance on Lincoln St. (for first level), Pendleton St. (for second level))

The Gamecock men’s team begins the 2014-15 season on Friday, Nov. 14, when it hosts North Florida at Colonial Life Arena at 7 p.m. ET, and the No. 2 ranked Gamecock women’s basketball team begins its season on Saturday when it hosts Southern Cal, also at 7 p.m. ET.
