COLUMBIA, S.C. – The University of South Carolina equestrian team has moved up one spot to No. 3 in the latest National Collegiate Equestrian Association (NCEA) rankings, it was announced yesterday. The Gamecocks are the highest ranked SEC team in this week’s rankings.
The Gamecocks (1-2, 1-1 SEC) snapped a two-meet losing streak on Oct. 10, when Carolina upset then-No. 3 Auburn, 10-9.
South Carolina returns to action on Friday, when the Gamecocks host Texas A&M at One Wood Farm in Blythewood. Friday’s meet will begin a 2 p.m. and admission is free.
