COLUMBIA, S.C. – The South Carolina Ticket Office announces today changes to season ticket options for women’s basketball, including increasing reserved seat options to five sections. Sections 106, 114 and 115 have been added to the original reserved seat season ticket sections of 104 and 105. The remaining sections of 101-103, 107-109, 113, 116-118 will continue to be general admission seating areas. The addition increases the number of reserved seat season tickets available to 2,951 and was made to accommodate the 4,709 season-ticket requests already received, which represents a 11.8 percent increase over 2013-14 sales.

“We heard our fans after last season’s tremendous response to our season ticket campaign, and we’re excited about this change,” South Carolina women’s basketball head coach Dawn Staley said. “We appreciate our long-time fans who are accustomed to sitting in the same areas each year, and this change will allow them to make sure those seats are available each and every game.”

All season ticket holders from 2013-14 will receive a seat request form (or click here to download one Get Acrobat Reader) to complete if they would like to change their current section or change from a general admission ticket to a reserved seat ticket. New season ticket purchasers will also fill out the form to request a specific section. Reserved seat season ticket holders who do not wish to change their location are guaranteed to keep their 2013-14 seats, provided they have submitted their renewal forms by the deadline of Sept. 26. All seat assignments will be made following the deadline, at which time priority of selections will follow the same procedure as other sports’ ticket requests.

For the 2014-15 season, reserved seat season tickets are $50 each. General Admission tickets start at $100 for a Family Four Pack. The South Carolina Ticket Office is currently accepting deposits on 2014-15 season tickets via the website, www.GamecocksOnline.com/tickets, or by calling 1-800-4SC-FANS.
