The South Carolina women’s soccer and volleyball programs will each have the first three matches of their 2014 seasons featured on the new SEC Network + digital platform, ESPN and the SEC announced today.

The women’s soccer home regular-season opener against Samford on Sun., Aug. 24, at 6 p.m., is the first South Carolina event on the new digital platform. The Gamecocks are also slated for coverage the following weekend when they host Boston University on Fri., Aug. 29, at 6:30 p.m., and Milwaukee on Sun., Aug. 31, at 2:30 p.m., in Stone Stadium.

The first three volleyball matches of 2014 will also be available on the SEC Network +. As a part of the Gamecock Invitational at the Volleyball Competition Facility, South Carolina faces Gardner-Webb on Fri., Aug. 29 at 7 p.m., and then takes on Jacksonville at 1 p.m. and Georgia Tech at 7 p.m., the following day

SEC Network + is exclusively available on SECNetwork.com and via WatchESPN. SEC Network + will launch August 14, along with the launch of the SEC Network television network.
