Dreher, Team France Capture European Ladies Amateur Team Crown

LJUBJANA, Slovenia – South Carolina senior Justine Dreher and Team France collected 4.50-2.50 victory over Finland in the title match of the European Ladies Amateur Team Championship Saturday at the Golf and Country Club Diners Ljubljana in Slovenia.
On its way to the final, France defeated England, 4.00-3.00, in the semifinals and Spain, 5.00-2.00, in the quarterfinals. Dreher, a product of Valbonne, France, carded rounds of 73 (+2) and 72 (+1) in stroke play before moving through match play with an undefeated record to help France claim the championship.
The event includes up to 20 European countries, each with a team of six players. All teams participate in two stroke play qualifying rounds. The top eight teams qualify for quarterfinals and play head-to-head in match play to decide a champion.
