COLUMBIA, S.C. — South Carolina incoming freshman Keenan Huskey has been named to the USA TODAY American Family Insurance All-USA boys golf team, USA TODAY announced Wednesday.
Huskey is one of five golfers who earned second-team honors. He receives the honor after wrapping up an extremely successful high school career at Greenville High School, where he won back-to-back Class AAA state titles as a junior and senior.
A native of Greenville, S.C., Huskey is currently ranked No. 1 in the South Carolina Junior Golf Association rankings, No. 25 in the Golfweek/Sagarin Boys Rankings and No. 38 in the Polo Golf Rankings.
The All-USA team was selected by USA TODAY High School Sports correspondent Chris Langrill, who received help from national golf associations, state golf associations and media from across the country.
