COLUMBIA, S.C. – South Carolina freshman Katelyn Dambaugh has been named to the 2014 SEC Women’s Golf Community Service Team, the conference office announced Friday.

A native of Goose Creek, S.C., Dambaugh has been active in the community during her first year in Columbia. She has volunteered with PAALs by helping with the service dog graduation event, assisted with the Special Olympics bowling competition and also has volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House.

The SEC names a Community Service Team for each of its 21 league-sponsored sports, looking to highlight a student-athlete from each school who gives back to their community through superior service efforts.
