COLUMBIA, S.C. — The South Carolina men’s golf team is ranked No. 24 in the Golf World/Nike Coaches’ Poll, Golf World announced Wednesday.

The Gamecocks had one of the best regular seasons in school history this year, recording three tournament wins and finishing third or better in seven-straight tournaments, which is a school record.

South Carolina is also ranked in the top 25 by Golfstat and Golfweek. The Gamecocks are No. 19 in the Golfweek/Sagarin Rankings and No. 24 in the Golfstat Relative Rankings.

The Gamecocks will be back in action on April 25-27 in the SEC Championship. The 54-hole event will be contested at Sea Island Golf Club in St. Simons Island, Ga. South Carolina finished runner-up at last year’s SEC Championship.
