Dambaugh Named SEC Freshman of the Week

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Katelyn Dambaugh has been named SEC Freshman of the Week as announced by the conference office on Wednesday. This is second time this season Dambaugh has earned conference honors.
Dambaugh helped lead the Gamecocks to a first place team finish and tied for 12th on the individual leaderboard at the PING ASU Invitational. The Goose Creek, S.C. native fired a 4-under 68 in the first round and finished with an even-par 216 for her fifth top-20 finish of the year.
The Gamecocks will be back in action April 18 in the first round of the 2014 SEC Championship. The 54-hole event will be held at the Greystone Golf Club in Birmingham, Ala.
